I guess the establishment is still trying to ruin lives for something that has become as American as beer or apple pie or football. What a waste for the poor guy who lost the car over something that is more accepted than it is rejected. When will those who are in control, (notice I didn’t say “governing”) stop using pot as a means of oppression? If this is the way we are governed…then it’s time to throw off this government of control. “Pot smokers unite” ought to be the next governing party. I’m sure it may become a stronger constituency than the National Rifle Association…and one to be wooed by politicians.

A good story to demonstrate what happens when the government has more power than the citizen. It’s easy to say that the officer went to far (which he did) but the fact is that he had the legal right to do what he did. Do we really need to give the government even more power?
If the guy walked the whole way home in temps lower than 21 degrees, depending on how he was dressed, he could have been in danger of freezing. So instead of protect & serve, it was more like endanger & I don’t care on the officers part. Interesting story.

Really, there was NOTHING more pressing than this for the cop? Like, say, a REAL criminal?

Wow. Let’s all just roll over and give up every freedom to the authorities, it would make life SO much simpler for them, I’m telling you!
